In his role at MTN Group, Karl has overall responsibility for sourcing and supply chain and oversees a multi-billion dollar spend portfolio across 19 countries, serving over 280 million mobile subscribers as well as the platform businesses of the MTN Group.
He has 25 years of experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain & IT management across the telecoms, automotive and financial sectors.
Prior to joining MTN Group, Karl was among the founding team of BUYIN, the leading telecom procurement alliance formed between Orange and Deutsche Telekom.
