The Danish jewellery manufacturer, PANDORA, has set the target to double its production capacity from a 2015 base-level by the end of next year.

In order to achieve its goal, the company will implement software provided by Quintiq, a Dassault Systèmes subsidiary.

The product planning solution will be implementing in the world’s largest jewellery manufacturer’s –  by production volume – three Thailand facilities.

95% of PANDORA’s jewellery was produced in the country last year, making it the target location for increased production capacity and supply chain planning.

“With Quintiq’s advanced planning system supporting our capacity expansion program, we will be able to scale up manufacturing capacity, increase our efficiency and increase agility to satisfy the demands of our valued customers,” commented Thomas Touborg, SVP Group Operations of PANDORA.
