Kinaxis Named Leader by Gartner for Supply Chain Solutions
Of the 20 vendors evaluated, Gartner positioned Kinaxis highest on ability to execute, marking the company’s 10th consecutive Leaders Quadrant within the report, highlighting its Supply Chain Planning Solutions.
How Kinaxis is a leader
Kinaxis attributes its position to its patented concurrency approach and a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions against the foundation of its leading vision through the use of advanced technology such as AI, ML and an intuitive user experience.
Supported by a rich ecosystem of third-party implementation partners, it continues to demonstrate that regardless of a customer’s industry, size or maturity level, the company can be counted on to seamlessly orchestrate supply chain networks end-to-end from strategic planning to last-mile delivery.
Earlier this year, it announced a new System Integrator (SI) partner, Valantic, one of the world’s leading digital solutions, consulting and software companies, to the company’s growing partner ecosystem.
The recognition comes on the heels of Kinaxis revealing that over the past five years, the company’s patent portfolio has grown by more than 500%, with 55% of those patents being for AI and ML-based innovations.
Why supply chains need to stay one step ahead
An IDC study, sponsored by Kinaxis, highlights slow progress in making supply chains more flexible and resilient post-pandemic. Only 17% of global supply chain leaders can respond to disruptions within 24 hours, with two-thirds expressing dissatisfaction.
The survey of 1,800 decision-makers reveals widespread struggles to maintain agility amid geopolitical conflicts and natural disasters. Crisis response times average five days, varying across industries, with Oil & Gas leading at 28%, followed by Life Sciences (15%) and Aerospace (14%).
“It’s more common than ever on quarterly earnings calls to hear that supply chains make or break success and this data proves that there is a tremendous opportunity across all sectors to improve resilience and risk mitigation,” says John Sicard, President and CEO at Kinaxis.
“Cutting-edge, AI-enhanced, end-to-end orchestration tools that enable companies to gain transparency, agility and improved collaboration can help address these compounding trends and make chief supply chain officers the heroes instead of the scapegoats the next time trouble appears on the horizon.”
How Kinaxis is orchestrating the supply chain
“We’re thrilled that once again, Kinaxis has been recognized by Gartner as a Leader for supply chain planning and equally proud to be recognized again as a Leader across the last ten Magic Quadrant reports,” says Andrew Bell, Chief Product Officer at Kinaxis.
"We believe this year’s report is further validation of our strong track record of delivering the only AI powered, concurrent, end-to-end supply chain orchestration platform that enables businesses to unlock agility, resilience, and meaningful value with their global supply chains.”
Kinaxis’ AI-powered technology and patented concurrency technique allows companies to orchestrate their supply chain network end-to-end from strategic planning to last-mile delivery. Kinaxis’ technology helps companies that supply the agricultural industry with 40% of the world’s tractors, keep more than 110 billion teeth clean each year and ensures more than 35 million pets are fed nutritious meals each year.
