Genpact: Transforming Supply Chain Ops for Big-Name Brands
Since becoming an independent company in 2005, Genpact has established itself as a leading global professional services firm with expertise in technology, analytics and process reengineering.
This, inevitably, means undertaking plenty of work in the supply chain space. In the words of Michael Ciatto, SVP and the company’s Supply Chain Service Line CEO, Genpact is “helping companies define their strategy and leading customers’ transformational efforts”.
Look no further than its five-year strategic collaboration with Tropicana Brands Group, a leading chilled beverage company, to transform its global business services and supply chain operations.
“Consumer goods companies looking to modernise and grow need robust, integrated solutions that align processes with operations across the entire value chain," says Anil Nanduru of the partnership.
Nanduru heads up Genpact’s High-Tech, Manufacturing, Consumer and Healthcare business.
He adds: “Tropicana Brands Group exemplifies this approach by strategically reengineering its business through the use of advanced digital technologies and data analytics to enhance revenue, profitability and innovation."
Supporting Fortune Global 500 clients
Founded in 1997 as a business unit within General Electric, today Genpact is a leading global professional services firm with offices in 30 countries and no less than 125,000 employees.
Specific services it offers include digital transformation, advanced analytics, procurement, supply chain management, customer experience management, and finance and accounting.
Thanks to these areas of expertise, the organisation helps clients—many of which belong to Fortune’s Global 500—transform their operations, improve efficiency and enhance customer experience.
Genpact recently announced it had forged an “expanded partnership” with leading digital workflow company, ServiceNow, resulting in the delivery of source-to-pay (S2P) applications across finance and supply chain operations. S2P includes all activities related to the procurement of goods and services – from identifying the need for a product or service to making final supplier payments.
Big players continue to partner with Genpact due to its unique ability to combine deep industry and functional expertise with leading talent and proven methodologies. This drives collaborative innovation, turns insight into action and delivers positive outcomes at scale.
Genpact itself continues to be guided by its real-world experience in redesigning and running thousands of processes for hundreds of global companies.
Transforming F&A for Tropicana
Working with Tropicana Brand Group, whose portfolio includes Tropicana, Naked and Dole, Genpact will leverage its domain expertise and digital business platform to implement standardised processes, data analytics and innovative digital solutions – transforming its finance and accounting (F&A) operations.
These efforts will help to streamline and automate a wide range of essential F&A operations, encompassing master data, accounts payable, expense management, order to cash, general accounting, reporting, customer supply chain, procurement operations and more.
As part of the engagement, Genpact will conduct S/4 HANA testing to help deploy new systems while enabling new global business services capabilities.
What’s more, the companies will work together to implement generative AI to automate and transform business processes.
"Tropicana Brands Group is committed to delivering modern enterprise business services that are future-ready and aligned with our growth plans," adds Matt Murray, Head of Corporate Finance at Tropicana Brands Group.
"Through our partnership with Genpact, we anticipate seamless and connected experiences at every touchpoint. Tropicana Brands Group is committed to fostering new growth through innovative processes, cutting-edge technology and data analytics.”
